S2 Grills strives to achieve a work environment that functions free of distractions and irritations. In the effort to maintain this, S2 Grills requires all employees to preserve clean and formal presence that is adequate for the workplace. Every employee must comply with every step of the present policy to accomplish its purpose. Failure to adhere to the policy below will disqualify an employee from working and may result in termination.

Uniforms will be kept neat, clean and in good condition at all times. Employees are responsible for the proper maintenance, laundering and care for these items.  Uniforms are expected to be clean & free from stains, holes, rips and excessive wrinkles. Clothing displaying profane, obscene or otherwise inappropriate language and/or symbols (i.e., drug or alcohol references, sexual references, etc.) may not be worn. Clothing displaying gang-type symbols, or patently offensive symbols or statements associated with race, religion, clubs, sects or groups, is prohibited.

• Plain black slacks, jeans or leggings

Shoes

All employees (front and back of the house) must wear slip resistant safety shoes or overshoes while working to help prevent slip and fall accidents. These shoes may be purchased from one of our approved supplier list:

• S2 Grills branded hat only

• Religious head-coverings (Hijabs, Turbans, Kufis)

• Hair nets must be worn by any employee handing food

• Hair longer than shoulder-length must be restrained.

• Skull caps / beanies

• Du-rags
• Bonnets
• Non-religious scarfs / head-coverings 
• Non-S2 branded snapbacks / fitted hats
• Sunglasses
• Masks

Nails

Employees handling food are required to wear food handling gloves
